Goodness transforms us, according to the Ancient Greek poet Sappho. Let her words – in sterling silver form – guide you through life with goodness at the helm.

Sappho

Time 630-570 B.C.

Location Lesbos, Greece

About We know Sappho through fragments. Only 650 of an estimated 10,000 poetry lines survive. Her lyrics explore romantic love between women. Indeed, Sappho caused the birth of the word lesbian. Each new fragmentary discovery of her poetry is a recognition of historical queer love.

Did you know?  Sappho’s surviving poetry has been recovered from quotations by other writers, painted ceramic shards, ancient papyrus trash dumps, and even mummy wrapping fibers.
